Waverly, Westmoreland

Information provided by Carl and Eunice Booker: This Waverly bowl in peach opalescence was found in an antique mall in Missouri. At first glance it was thought to be Pillow and Sunburst. On closer inspection it was discovered not to be that pattern, but a pattern that was unknown. The bowl was purchased and upon researching it, the pattern was discovered in a Westmoreland online catalogue page. Westmoreland made the pattern in a round bowl and in a creamer and sugar set. To our knowledge this is the first piece to be found in carnival glass. (The blemish one sees in the pictures is a manufacturer's flaw.)

This bowl is a round bowl in the ice cream shape. It measures eight and one-half inches in diameter. That's about all that can be said for it until additional information can be found.
