Although this vase has prominent vertical ribs like several other patterns, it's the only one with 12 ribs. The base diameter is 3 1/4 inches. The vases were made from the same mold that is sometimes seen flattened into a bowl, plate, or banana dish.

Here is a plate, a straight vase, and a JIP vase, all fashioned from the same mould and all in amber. Amber was a production line color for Westmoreland. Westmoreland's amber is a pale mustard amber. Supposedly, mustard seed was actually one of the colorants used.
