Lime Green Opalescent
Lime green opalsecent begins with a lime green base glass that has had bone ash added to the glass mix. The opalizing takes place when the piece is reheated. The opalescence becomes heaviest where the piece has received the most heat. Here the base glass color is seen in the base of the Boggy Bayou vase and the spatula foot of the Three Fruits Medallion bowl.
