Apple Blossom Shell

I know little about this tumbler other than that it had at one time been in the extensive tumbler collection of the late John Britt. It is marigold on milk glass and sold for $240 at a 2001 auction and for $225 in 2014.

In an email from, 2003, Bob Smith stated that the majority of tumbler collectors do not consider this to be Carnival Glass.

In 2018, David Kastor pointed out that this piece, along with the Wild Rose syrup jug and small bowl, were produced in 1906 by Riverside Glass and called Florentine.
