Acanthus Leaf (Acanto), Piccardo
This pattern was identified by Glen and Stephen Thistlewood in their book, "A Century of Carnival Glass," showing a drawing from a 1934 Cristalerias Piccardo catalog. Piccardo called the pattern Acanto, which translates into Acanthus. This butter dish in marigold sold for $185 at a 2005 auction. In 2014, a marigold sugar brought $70.
