Poppy Spray, Faglaviks
I know little about this vase other than it was identified by this name in Glen and Stephen Thistlewood's book, The Art of Carnival Glass and is probably of Scandinavian origin. This example is in amethyst and is 9 1/2 inches tall. It sold in 2012 for $375. Either this one or another which looks identical, sold in 2014 for $750. Photo courtesy of Seeck Auctions.

Two examples sold in 2020: a 10 inch in green with a spittoon top like this one for $290, and a 11 1/2 inch in purple for $475.

In 2021, a purple example like the one at the left sold for $310.
