Christmas Compote Contemporary, Fenton

In 1997, the original molds for this treasured compote were uncovered. Dave Richardson has reissued this compote in new Fenton colors including blue, ruby, topaz, and this green opalescent example which sold for $130 at a 1999 auction. A red example sold at auction in 2005 for $200. In 2006 a blue piece brought $350; one in mulberry, $536; and one in red sold for $275. In 2007, a green opal example brought $185.
