Mitered Ovals, Millersburg  More

Updated 4/7/2017

These rare vases, 10 inches tall with a 4 1/8 inch base, are found in the typical Millersburg colors of marigold, amethyst, and green. They invariably have this three-ruffled top with crimping.

In a survey on the Internet Carnival Glass club (www.cga) early in 2009, 26 of these vases were identified as being in various collections--with a number more suspected but not known. There were about 10 each in amethyst and green and perhaps 6 in marigold.
