Mitered Ovals, Millersburg  More

Updated 3/12/2017

These rare vases, 10 inches tall with a 4 1/8 inch base, are found in the typical Millersburg colors of marigold, amethyst, and green. They invariably have this three-ruffled top with crimping.

In a survey on the Internet Carnival Glass club (www.cga) early in 2009, 26 of these vases were identified as being in various collections--with a number more suspected but not known. There were about 10 each in amethyst and green and perhaps 6 in marigold.

Amethyst, 5,400, 7,250 (both 2010),
   17,500 (2012), 9,000 (2013),
   4,000, 10,000 (both 2014), 10,000 (2016)

Green, 20,000 (2006), 7,750 (2010),
   16,000 (2012), 11,000 (2014)

Marigold, 7,000 (2010), 12,000 (2014),
   9,700 (2016)
