| These Buddha figurines seldom come up for sale. Other than for decorative purposes, I'm not sure what they were used for. One auctioneer suggested "paperweight." Marigold items such as the example on the left range in size quite a bit with varying prices as well. I have records of such items selling for as much as $2,000 in 1995 and for as little as $145 in 2007. The example on the right, listed as emerald green and 10 to 12 inches tall, sold in 2019 for $125. In 2020 an example in emerald green and listed as 6 1/4 inches tall, sold for $375.
