Last updated 11/17/2022

These vases, made by the Finnish maker Riihimaki, are about 8 inches tall and have a 2 3/8 inch base. At least some of them have the word Riihimaki molded into the base. It is named after Bob Bishop who uncovered the first known example, in blue like this one. In their book, A Century of Carnival Glass, Glen and Stephen Thistlewood report that the pattern is shown in a 1939 Riihimaki catalog. This blue example sold in 2004 for $450.
