Asters, Brockwitz   Updated 3/20/2008    Link to Thistlewood's page on Asters
The Asters pattern, made by Brockwitz of Germany, is found only on the exterior of bowls, rosebowls, plates, compotes, and vases. The title flowers are within curved borders with a band of hexagons around the borders. On the left is a small plate, on the right a large rosebowl--about 8 inches in diameter. There is also a smaller rosebowl, about 4 inches in diameter.
