| The Asters pattern, made by Brockwitz of Germany, is found only on the exterior of bowls, rosebowls, plates, compotes, and vases. The title flowers are within curved borders with a band of hexagons around the borders. On the left is a small plate, on the right a large rosebowl--about 8 inches in diameter. There is also a smaller rosebowl, about 4 inches in diameter. | |

| Above are typical vases in the Asters pattern. One of these 5-inch rectangular letter vases sold in 2005 for $375. The compotes are sometimes flattened (and may be referred to as a cake plate), or cupped up. | |
